The sad incident, according to sources, occurred in Nigeria, where a middle aged man identified as papa Ebube from Imo state residing in Arita lane area of Yenagoa took his own life by hanging himself.

According to residents in the area, papa Ebube may have commited suicide because he lost his Bet Naija ticket that could have earned him 360million Naira which is equivalent to over 5.4 million Ghana cedis.

Documents found in his possession when the police arrived, revealed that, the deceased was a graduate, a tricycle rider, and a great lover of sports whose son is expected to graduate from the Nigerian military school this year.

Neighbour’s told our source that papa Ebube was a good fellow in the neighborhood, had two wives, and two children living with him but left when they constantly suffered domestic violence under his watch.
