Ghanaian actress Lydia Forson is not happy with netizens about how she’s been dragged into comments made by Desmond Elliot.
After Desmond Elliott earlier in the week chastised youths in Nigeria, there have been rumors about a relationship between Lydia Forson and married Nigerian actor turned politician, Desmond Elliott.
It was rumored that Desmond Elliot’s wife caught Lydia Forson and her husband in a hotel room involving in sexual acts.
Reacting to the rumors, Lydia Forson said the rate at which the people believed the rumors justifies Desmond Elliots call for social media to be regulated.
Desmond Elliot called for the reglation of social media in Nigeria in the wake of the EndSars protest.
He raised concerns about how the youths are losing morals due to the negative impact of social media to an extent of describing the youth’s behavior as childish.
He has since apologized for his comments.
