Jamaican deejay, songwriter, and performer, Popcaan has reacted to Kwaw Kese’s rant on social media over him smoking weed in public without the police arresting him.
It appeared Popcaan whiles cruising on the streets of Accra in Nima decided to smoke his lungs out.
He was doing this under the supervision of Ghana police who were there to enforce the law but failed to do so.
This got a reaction from Madtime Records boss, Kwaw Kese who was arrested years ago for a similar offence in Kumasi.
Kwaw revealed the police service allows foreigners to misbehave in the country and make it seem as if foreigners are special.
This comment from Kwaw did not go down with Popcaan who annulled Kwaw’s assertion that he was misbehaving because he is a foreigner – from Jamaica.
According to the Jamaican artiste, his ancestors are from Africa, which makes Ghana a home.
He advised Kwaw to stop ranting and join forces with him so they meet the president of Ghana and talk him into legalizing weed.
Commenting on Kwaw’s post on instagram he wrote; “I am not a foreigner bro, we all came from Africa don’t be mad.. let’s try to organize a meeting with the government to legalize weed… it’s simple unruly.”
