A Kenyan Tea farmer has attempted to chop off his penis to prove his innocence after his family accused him of having extra marital affairs with other women in the village.
The 70 year old man who is from Getarwet Sub-location in Bureti constituency is in a critical condition at the Litein Mission Hospital after the attempt.
Confirming the reports of the incidence, Getarwet Sub-Location Assistant Chief, Sylvester Sigei said that the man used a knife to slash his manhood when his family leveled those accusations against him.
“When the man’s wife and children confronted the man over wasting limited tea earning on village women, the man denied the accusation and for good measure decided to chop off his manhood.”
He continued; ”Among the other accusation levelled against the man is that his has even used the tea bonus to construct a permanent house for one of the widow’s he intends to inherit yet he has not constructed a good house for his own family,”
Also according to Mr. Segei, the family mentioned that the farmer enjoys some bonuses from the Kenya Tea Development Agency but they have never benefited even though they are the ones who do the weeding and the plucking of the tea bushes.
An unnamed person has revealed that the hospital spent three hours trying to fix the hanging penis while Doctor Philip Blasto has also said that the patient is stable.
The Doctor spoke to Standard Digital outside Litein Hospital on Tuesday, October 27.
