John Mahama has pledged to acquire a vast cattle grazing area for the cattle rearers in Agogo to resolve the frequent clashes between the herdsmen and local crop farmers
As promised by the aspiring president, his next administration would acquire 10,000 to 20,000 hectares of grazing land and move all herdsmen and their cattle there.
He also noted that this would promote peace between the local farmers and the herdsmen for both to enjoy their works
The aspiring president made the pledge during a mini rally at Agogo in the Asante Akyem North Constituency of the Ashanti Region.
Ending his submissions, the NDC lead member also indicated that he would ensure that the cattle grazing land had water for the livestock.
