Ghanaian social and political activist who is also a retired Hiplife musician, Kwame Asare Obeng, nicknamed A Plus, has bitterly lamented over the mandatory $150 COVID-19 test fee which travellers are charged to pay at the Kotoka International Airport.

Before A-Plus took to his IG page to rant and also call out the government for being thoughtless about the inconvenience and financial burden that this test fee has brought.
Many Ghanaians had already registered their displeasure over the mandatory test and the exorbitant charge with sad complaints that it is a pain in the neck.
According to A Plus in a self-recorded video, this decision by the government is aimed at indirectly extorting money from “poor” citizens hence an act of disguised pure wickedness.
The founder of TPP also submitted that, as far as someone has done a COVID-19 test at the departure point, the next test should be freely conducted when he/she arrives in Ghana.
