Social distancing in public transports cancelled – Nana Addo tells Ghanaians

The president of the Republic of Ghana, His excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo Addo, during his 14th address to the nation on the novel coronavirus announced that:

Social distancing protocol which was previously employed by the government as one of the measures to curb the deadly virus has been finally lifted, Gossips24.com reports.

Citing from the address delivered by the president yesterday, 26th July 2020: (Trotros, buses taxis etc) can now return to taking the full capacity of passengers in their commercial cars.

As stated by Nana Addo:

In consultation with the Ministries of Transport and Aviation and the leadership of transport operators, Government has taken the decision to lift the restrictions in the transport sector, and allow for full capacity in our domestic aeroplanes, taxis, trotros and buses. The wearing of masks in vehicles and aircraft, and the maintenance of enhanced hygiene protocols, remain mandatory.
