COVID-19: GFA To Start Testing Of Ghana Premier League Players And Officials Today

The association of Ghana football, GFA will commence mass testing of players, coaching staff, and officials of the Ghana Premier League on Thursday, October 22, 2020.

This is part of the footballing body preparations to commencing the 2020/2021 football season which is set to kick off from Friday, November 13, 2020.

The first club to undergo the tests is Dawu based Dreams FC.

The mass testing procedure to be carried out by the GFA is to ensure that football is played in the safest possible way to curb the spread of the virus.

As indicated by the GFA, all registered players of the clubs, coaching staff, and officials would undergo the test for the reasons for rivalry trustworthiness, fairness, and transparency.

In light of that, it is worthy to note that the association is also working hard to implement measures that will surely ensure that games are played under strict COVID-19 protocols for a successful 2020/2021 season.
