John Dumelo distributes free hand sanitizers to members of his constituency to fight coronavirus

The outbreak of coronavirus in Ghana came along with an increment on the prices of hand sanitizers in various shops, especially pharmacies.

Ghanaian actor turned politician, John Dumelo has taken it upon himself to distribute over 3000 hand sanitizers to members of his constituency.

The NDC parliamentary candidate for Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency is helping members of his constituency through the John Dumelo foundation to fight the coronavirus.

The actor shared the first batch of hand sanitizers to members of his constituency today and promised to share additional 3000 by the end of Tuesday, March 17, 2020.

He tweeted; “I am pleased to announce that the John Dumelo foundation is distributing free hand sanitizers across the Ayawaso west constituency. We are adding an additional 3000 bottles to be distributed between now and tomorrow. Together lets fight the virus. #withyouwecan

Though this is one of John’s strategies to buy votes, it will also help members of the constituency, actually preventing the virus from spreading and infecting thousands.

Members of the Ayawaso constituency also took to social media to thank the politician for rescuing them.
