Multiple-award-wining Ghanaian Highlife musician and songwriter, Martin King Arthur popularly known as Kofi Kinaata, who is noted for dropping only sensible songs; Has finally revealed why he doesn’t release brola songs into the music industry.
During an interview with DJ Advicer on Happy FM, the “Adam & Eve” composer noted that he refuses to feature on some songs because he finds the lyrics below par and trash.
As confessed by him, he’s much concerned about dropping only impactful-sensible songs and not hit songs.
In his own words;
I respect my listeners and I just can’t record any kind of song for old folks and my parents to listen to. Some songs have no impact and I am not willing to do such a feature.
For some songs, even if you feature God, the song will not make an impact
I want to be on a song that can make an impact. If you can’t make a good song which makes an impact, I’ll not feature on it.
