In over the 230 years of America’s democratic dispensation, there hasn’t been any tight election like the one which was held last month. Per the records keepers, this year’s result has the highest voter turnouts ever in the history of the American people. Also, Joe Biden’s over 73,000 popular votes and 280 Electoral College vote counts are the highest so far! Even with President Donald J. Trump’s 71,000,000 and so votes, it is the highest for any sitting President according to pollsters. In summary, this year’s election was just full of surprises and records.
Well, Ghanaians have started trolling some pastors who prophesied the victory of Donald Trump. Others are also making a link and systemic projection of Ghana’s pending Dec 7 polls in relation to that of the Americans. One of National Democratic Congress’ (NDC) stalwarts who goes by the name Chief Biney has narrated why he thinks Mahama will win on Dec 7 because of America’s vote for a change.
He wrote;
“The wind of change is blowing all over the globe, Ghana and America got something in common which is the president Elect Joe Biden nominated a Female as his running mate and was once the vice president of USA, PREZ MAHAMA on the other hand, was the vice president of Ghana, coincidentally president Mahama also nominated a female as his running mate.
Following the trend since 1992 One can boldly conclude that America has prepared the way for positive change in Ghana.
Fellow Akatamansonians and citizens, it’s time for positive change in Ghana. Let’s all come together and replicate same in Ghana come December 7th.
