The reports suggested that Joan, was in a rehabilitation centre in the United States for months as a result of her drug addiction before her parents took a firm decision and deported her to Ghana.

Speaking on tonight’s edition of Tv3’s Date Rush reunion, Joan debunked ever being to the United States of America, as she revealed her accent was one that she developed right here in Accra, Ghana.

However, Joan revealed she has a mental disorder but the cause of her mental disorder which has been classified as Schizophrenia is not related to drugs as she has never done any of what was speculated.

She revealed she has been receiving metal health care and will recover with time. According to her, though the news hit her hard, she just had to live her life and do her best to overcome the impending situation.
