Multiple award-winning Ghanaian musicians, Wendy Shay has made an appeal to the Ghana Football Association following Black Stars disappointment in Cameroon.
Ghanaians were hopeful the senior national team would turn the fortunes of their last two games in AFCON 2021 around against Comoros who sat last in Group C without a win.
However, it ended that Comoros rather shocked Ghanaians as they defeated the Black Stars in a thrilling 3-2 win, meanwhile, Ghana’s captain, Dede Ayew was sent off within 2 minutes.
Following the loss and being knocked out of the tournament which is the first since 2006, Ghanaians have angrily descended on the GFA, Black Stars players and coach Milovan Rajevac.
Wendy Shay has also added her voice to the ongoing bashing from Ghanaians. According to her, the GFA should consider investing the money have wasted on Black Stars into Ghana music.
She made this known in a tweet sighted by Gossips24.com on Twitter.
