Rufftown Records signee, Wendy Shay has come to the defense of her label mate Fantana with regards the pad she displayed on stage.
Fantana has been in the news after she flashed her pad in the eyes of the public and all who gathered at the Fantasy Dome for the just ended Reign Concert.
The So What singer later explained that her menses came just 30 minutes before she climbed the stage and there was no better way to handle the situation than wearing a pad to perform on stage.
Well, Wendy Shay, a label mate, has revealed Fantana’s mistake was not avoidable looking at the circumstance she found herself in.
According to Wendy in an interview with Sammy Flex, as monitored by Gossips24.com, Fantana’s explanation makes 100% sense because she could not have returned home to fix things.
“Honestly, if i put myself in her shoes i think at that moment it wasn’t avoidable… She came out to explain, after listening to her explanation I think it makes sense.”
She further revealed she would have done same if it had happened to her.
“Being an artiste, especially a female, sometimes let’s say the VGMA the attire that i wore, we have been working on it since two months. So imagine the day comes and 30 minutes i have to go on stage and then my menses comes there is no back up dress, i mean i will try and do anything possible for it to happen”
She also revealed Fantana did what she did because she loves her job and is so passionate about what she does.
She concluded by saying what happened to Fantana could have happened to anybody hence the artiste should be pardoned.
