Ghanaian businessman and politician Kofi Akpaloo has confirmed his statement that elections 2020 will be a battle of ideas.

Kofi Akpaloo who is the President Candidate in the 2020 elections has made a promise worth thinking about should Ghanaians think about the welfare of their children.

The well-learned policy-enthusiast has vowed to give every child a monthly stipend of GHS200.00 and GHS300 for twins.

Kofi Akpaloo who is the founder and leader of Liberal Party of Ghana made this promise to remedy the negligence on the part of successive governments who have failed to prioritize the needs of Ghanaian children.

“The Party intends to pay GH¢200 monthly stipend to every Ghanaian child from age one to 18, while twins will receive GH¢300.00. There have not been any clear policies as a matter of social intervention to promote the welfare of Ghanaian children,” he said.

“As a nation, understanding the needs of children and being able to direct their energies and talents to meaningful ventures is key to enhancing national productivity and economic growth,” he pointed out.

“It is expected that the monthly allowances to the Ghanaian child will enter every home, where a child lives and once the money is paid, the child becomes a very important part of society, not only to the parents and guardians but to the state as well,” he concluded.
