A Nigerian-based Ghanaian actor who rose to fame through TV3 In a recent interview on Peace FM, Enoch Darko revealed that he was poisoned by a colleague because of the money he took for a movie role.
He admitted that he was called onto the set to take the place of the more seasoned actor, but since he was young and anxious for a role, he agreed to play the part for less money, only to be poisoned.
“That time, I think a particular actor wanted to suspend his role so he could be paid more for it, but when I came I decided to take lower pay, o when I shot about one or two scenes, I suddenly felt sick and had to be taken home. The one who took to the movie set later discovered that I was poisoned”, he said in Twi.
