I have been crying because I have missed my church members – Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah

Leader of the Royal house Chapel International, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah has said he has been shedding tears since the closure of churches.

According to the man of God, he has missed his church members who he has not met for close to two months due to the restrictions put in place by the government to curb the spread of Coronavirus.

In an interview with Doreen Andoh on JoyNews TV, Rev Sam Korankye Ankrah added that the absence of members in the church has left him lonely as he relishes the times he worshiped with them together.

Though others think the man of God’s statement is made on the grounds that the church is not getting the cash-flow its supposed to, he thinks otherwise.

“He said, he is not missing his congregants for monetary gain but simply to help them grow spiritually. I have cried and cried. My tears have finished. We miss our church members. We don’t want their money. We miss worshiping with them as we importantly consider their spiritual growth,”  he told JoyNews.

The President of Ghana, Nana Akufo-Addo, on Sunday Night, extended the ban on public and social gatherings for three more weeks, thus 31st May. This means churches cannot operate until 31st May when the ban is officially lifted.
