EC Boss, Jean Mensah Speaks For The First Time After Declaring 2020 Election Results (video)

The Chairperson for Ghana’s Electoral Commission, Mrs. Jean Adukwei Mensah has spoken for the first time since she declared the 2020 Presidential Election results.

Madam Jean Mensah came under heavy criticism from the camp of the largest opposition party in Ghana following the declaration of the results for December 7 elections.

The criticisms followed up with a couple of allegations suggesting that the EC boss had made her way out of the country to the United States of America.

Later, there were rumours suggesting that she’d been deported by the immigration service in the US upon her arrival.

However, in a video recorded on 11th December 2020 which has just gone viral, Madam Jean Mensah rubbished the said reports and rumours.

According to Madam Jean, she really loves Ghana and would want peace to reign before she makes any move out of the country.

She added that though she has a valid US visa which allows her to travel out of the country anytime she wants, she’d rather want the dust and ongoing confusion among some political parties regarding the declared results to settle before she makes any move out of the country.
