Multiple award-winning rapper, Michael Owusu Addo, popularly known as Sarkodie is currently not happy with reports on several blogs stating ‘He’ gave Kesse Ghc20 for his verse in Azonto Fiesta.
In an interview, Kesse addressed that he was given Ghc20 for his part in the 2012 hit song, AZONTO FIESTA, which has himself, Sarkodie and sound engineer, Appietus.
The news that taints the brand of Sarkodie as many blogs reported by interpreting that Sark actually gave Kesse Ghc20 and has since then not given him a dime from the song.
Reacting to this, Sarkodie has revealed he does not own the song and literally shares the same fate with Kesse.
In several tweets sighted by Gossips24.com, Sark made it clear that he doesn’t own the song, which means the song is owned by Appietus. Hence any issue should be addressed by him – if Kesse has any.
The rapper tweeted; ” I’m not sure he mentioned my name bro … that ain’t my song and I didn’t make a penny off that either… call the owner … shouts to the brother Kesse”
