Information reaching Gossips24.com’s front desk indicates that a heavy-loaded long truck has fallen at Ofankor-barrier off the Accra-Kumasi highway.
According to an eyewitness, the driver of the truck lost control and in his attempt to avoid a collision with an oncoming vehicle, the truck was tipped over.
“The driver veered off the road to save a vehicle that was moving towards the direction of the articulated track,” the eyewitness said.
This has led to heavy traffic on the road. The unidentified driver is said to have escaped unhurt.
We also gathered that Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate (MTTD) officials have arrived at the scene.
