Ghana to release test results of the first suspected Coronavirus case today

According to reports flying on social media, two cases of the deadly Coronavirus have been suspected at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital.

A test has been carried out to officially confirm the coronavirus and the results are set to be ready by midday, Thursday, February 6, 2020.

This statement was made by a senior researcher at Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research, Kofi Bonney.

Two foreign nationals – a Chinese and an Argentine – were quarantined at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital on Wednesday when they reported at the facility with symptoms suspected to be coronavirus.
