Ghana needs to device a law against homosexuality advocacy- Oppong Nkrumah states

Minister for Information, Mr. Oppong Nkrumah has made a strong suggestion so far as the issue of LGBTQ rights in Ghana is concerned.

According to the minister, it is important that the country device and enforce a law that seeks to ban any form of advocacy of Homosexuality in the country.

Mr. Oppong Nkrumah stated before the committee that, the issue of homosexuality is against the customary laws of Ghana and also a criminal act in the legal constitution.

Weighing the matter on a moral and legal scale, the honorable minister requested that a law be passed to punish individuals who try to be advocates of homosexuality.
