Fuse ODG should show us his GRAMMY Award !! We don’t need lectures on morality

Instead of Fuse ODG answering a harmless question posed by Ameyaw Debrah as to whether he has something to prove that he actually won a Grammy, he went on a preaching rant on morality.

Yes, he played smart on us and emotionally, I supported him briefly until I realized the thing just doesn’t make sense.

Fuse ODG contributed to an album ( Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’) that won a Grammy, but Fuse ODG as a person was neither nominated nor awarded a Grammy.

He later applied for a certificate of participation which is allowed under the recording academy’s law, but he should stop deceiving us that he is a Grammy winner.

Fuse ODG for all these years has been mispresenting himself as a ‘Grammy Award-winning…’, which is a big lie.

We will push our own but we can’t ignorantly be celebrating what’s not there all in the name of supporting our own.

Does supporting our own means saying Shatta Wale is nominated for Grammy when in fact the rules clearly say otherwise?

Well partly, some bloggers are to blame for this mess. Shatta literally never said he got nominated for Grammy. But “At long last, my name has entered Grammys”, What was he trying to say? Maybe he should come and explain to us.

We will support our own, Bloggers led the way when Shatta Wale got featured on the Lion King Album, and Ghanaians jubilated and praised him for the masterpiece song which got a spot on the album.

But you can’t expect us to celebrate there when there is no there!

At this point, all we must be trying to establish is whether being a feature on a single song on an album that got a Grammy nomination qualifies you as a Grammy nominee yourself and an eventual winner should the album be victorious instead of playing emotional games of support your own support your own.

Is Mr Eazi even saying he has been nominated? I doubt he has because he was also on a song as Shatta Wale was. Guiltybeatz worked on three songs – production – two more than Shatta Wale’s input but is not flying around claiming he has been nominated as Shatta is.

Back to the matter, Fuse ODG should show us the proof that he was actually nominated for Grammys and won eventually instead of trying to play smart on us.

You can fool some of the people sometimes but you can’t fool all the people all the time.
