Jack Dorsey who happens to be the co-founder of Twitter has come out to reveal that he has stepped down as the CEO of the company for somebody else to take charge.
The multi-billion dollar company was founded by Jack in the year 2006 and has since served a lot of users on the internet leading to the creation of the digital payment company, Square.
According to reports some investors of the company who are billionaires known as Paul Singer, and Elliott Management have been forcing and putting pressure on him to step down.

The resignation of Jack Dorsey has led to the shares of the company rising to 11%. Jack Dorsey taking to social media to make the announcement wrote saying;
“not sure anyone has heard but, I resigned from Twitter”.
According to reports coming in Jack Dorsey would be replaced by Chief Technology Officer(CTO), Parag Agrawal.
