Tobinco CEO reveals how he started his company with just 1 cedi he borrowed from a friend (Video)

Mr Samuel Amo Tobbin who is the CEO of Tobinco pharmacy has exclusively shared his rags-to-riches story with the general public and according to him, he started one of the biggest pharmaceutical companies in Ghana with just 1 cedi.

Whiles recounting his humble beginnings, Mr Samuel said he was introduced to the selling of drugs by a Muslim man he met along the line in 1984 when he was just 20 years old.

He further disclosed that it was this his Muslim friend who gave him the 1 cedi to embark on his entrepreneurial journey.

During his interview with Zionfelix, he also mentioned that he was born into a poor family of 11 and that he hawked on the streets to pay for his school fees and to support himself due to his family’s financial situation.

Many Ghanaians have tagged his story as a lie with the claims that no sort of business can thrive on 1 cedi capital.
