Popular veteran actor Fred Amugi has said that the demise of the former president J.J Rawlings was the reason why he could not take part in their new movie.

According to Fred Amugi and the president of MUSIGA , Rawlings would have been casted in their new movie but they were shocked when the leader passed away suddenly.
He added in an interview with MzGee on TV3 that the late president was the one who caused fear and panic in the country that made arts and culture lose its patronage due to the then imposed curfew.
Fred Amugi went forward to say that J.J Rawlings even though he killed the arts industry during his military rule was the same person who revived the industry by building the National Theatre.
According to Fred Amugi the late president was a lover of arts and drama and was very loving to all entertainers.
