The President of the Republic of Ghana Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo has denied claims by many that he is a liar.
President Akufo Addo reiterated his commitment to better the lives of the ordinary Ghanaian and transform the economy since assuming office.
In a statement he made when he was the special guest at durbar of chiefs and people of Ga West, Ga North and Ga Central on Monday, 2nd December, 2019, the flagbearer of the ruling New Patriotic Party, Nana Akufo Addo stated that his mission to take up the mantle of leading the nation was not for selfish reasons.
According to Akufo Addo, he did not throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians just to be voted into power thus all his promises are in being pursued to ensure delivery to the utmost satisfaction of Ghanaians.
He continued by assuring all residence of Accra that they will soon have their fair share of the construction of roads.
“Everything I said I will do, I am doing. I didn’t come to lie to anyone in Ghana. That is not the reason why i came but to work and transform the country with the help of my appointees,” he said.
“In 2020, all the things we need to do for the citizens to have comfort will be done. We are going to make sure inner-city roads, main thunk roads are constructed.” He elaborated.
