The president of Algeria Abdelmadjid Tebboune has recovered from COVID19 after battling the virus for a month. Tebboune returned from Germany on Tuesday where he received personal treatment.
The country was in a midst of a health and economic crisis when Tebboune was reported to have contracted the virus. This caused an atmosphere of fear and panic among the netizens of Algeria.
The president returned to his homeland at 6 pm where he was welcomed by several state officials.
According to Abdelmadjid Tebboune, days spent away from Algeria have been terrifying because he had so many responsibilities back home.
The Prime Minister of Algeria expressed his happiness to see the President in good health. He added that they were going to begin work to ensure the progress of the nation.
