President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has disclosed that the government is deploying drones for transportation of samples taken from persons suspected to be infected with Coronavirus, to the various centers for testing.
He made this to the general public during his seventh (7th) address today, April 19, 2020 on measures to combat the deadly coronavirus.
“Government has also introduced the use of drones to expedite the transportation of samples to laboratory centres. On Friday 17th April for example, 51 samples were delivered from the Omenako drone distribution centre to Noguchi,” he said.
Meanwhile, Ghana’s cornavirus cases hit jumped to 1042 with 99 recoveries and 9 deaths.
