More often than not we probably might refer to a lady who’s looking luxury with a questionable source of income as ‘Slay Queen’.
Well, most Ghanaian celebrities have embraced the title so well that some openly prefer being called s Slay Queen their their christened name.
There are few who do not like that title and one of them is singer Francisca Gawugah known by her stage name as Sista Afia.
She has her followers not to tag her as such because shes far from being one of the slay queens.
Speaking on Okayfm with Abeiku Santana as monitored by this news outlet, Sista Afia said
“Please I only did a slay queen song but I’m not a slay queen myself, now everybody is making slay queen look like an ashawo(prostitution) thing so I don’t even want to have that name on me even though I have sung about it before. I don’t want to have anything to do with it.”
Despite the fact that she is not accepting the name tag, Sista Afia has been in recent times involved in Beefs with other female celebrities.
Body Shaming and several unprintable words have been including the infamous Slay Queen Tag.
