As part of the preparations towards the 2022 World Cup to be held in Qatar, the Black Stars of Ghana are set to play Brazil and Nicaragua in pre-world cup friendly games in France and Spain, respectively.
The squad which was released earlier today consists of five debuntats: Tariq Lamptey (Brighton), Inaki Williams (Athletic Bilbao), Stephan Ambrosius (Karlsruher), Ransford-Yeboah Konigsdorffer, and Mohammed Salisu, who have been called up into the senior national team several times.
The friendly might be Otto Addo’s last chance to access and make a final conclusion on the squad to represent the nation at Qatar from November 20–18, 2018. Hearts of Oak winger, Afriyie Barnieh, will be in the squad.
On September 23, Ghana will take on Brazil at Le Havre, France, followed by Nicaragua four days later in Madrid, Spain.
