Ghanaian comedian, Clemento Suarez, has reacted to the passing of former president Jerry John Rawlings.
Earlier today, the comedian conveyed his sense of loss because of the parting of the former president.
Following his viral imitation of Jerry John Rawlings on social media, Clemento had the honor of meeting him.
He wrote “Rest Well Sir. A super ICON down” on his Facebook page.
Ghana remains in shock after the news of the former president’s passing came to light earlier today. He died at the Korle Bu Teaching hospital where he had been on admission since Sunday. Earlier reports claimed the cause of death was Covid-19.
Much like him, other celebrities have taken to their social media to react by sharing memories of him.
