Dancehall Artiste, Charles Nii Armah Mensah, known by the showbiz name, Shatta Wale revealed in 2017 that he will retire from the music scene in 2020.
In an interview with Deloris Frimpong-Manso (Delay) on the Delay show, Shatta Wale hinted on his retirement due in four years after the interview which was aired in 2016.
People feel Shatta will fall pretty soon and that’s a lie. I keep telling my manager that I need to retire by 2020. With all the controversies, I want people to realize this guy (Shatta) has a future.
He told Delay in an interview in 2017.
