A tweep has taken to a popular microblogging site, Twitter to reveal how a rich man who died had his church failing to bury in the count that he hasn’t fulfilled the promise he made to the church.
According to reports, the rich man when he was alive promised to give the church N1 million (Gh¢14,956.23) so they can be able to acquire land and build their own church.
Unfortunately, the man fell ill and died shortly and to the surprise of many the leaders of the place he worshipped refused to bury him as they claim that they would only do the service for him should his family pay the pledge that he made.
The tweep identified as Felix Nweke taking to Twitter wrote saying;
“A man lived all his life serving and providing for the Catholic church in my town. He pledged 1M to the church because they want to purchase a land, along the line he fall ill unfortunately he died and Church insist on the pledge to be redeemed before they can bury him.”
