NPP’s Carlos Ahenkorah, who is the Member of Parliament for Tema West has finally broken silence after his infamous Usain Bolt emulation in parliament’s floor during the voting session for the next speaker of parliament.
According to the former Deputy Trade Minister, his ill-famed action was to force the House to organise a re-run of the election due to various interference of the process by members of the opposition NDC.
In a lengthy post he authored on his Facebook page, he also added that he did it for the grassroots who rely on him and other NPP leaders in power to survive.
