The New Patriotic Party( NPP)’s National Executive Committee (NEC), has hand-picked the brother of the late parliamentary candidate in the Yapei Kusaugu constituency in the Savannah region, as it’s new candidate.
Iddrisu Salia Kamara is the brother of Abu Kamara who replaces his late brother.
He will lead the party into the upcoming election barely two months away.
He (Salia Kamara) will seek to fulfill his brother’s dream of becoming a member of Parliament in the area.
Mr. Iddrisu Salia Kamara who is a teacher will be required to file his nomination on 27th October 2020.
As we all know, Abu Kamara died in a motor accident while returning from campaign duties.
Honourable John Abdulai Jinapor is the current member of Parliament for the Yapei-Kusaugu constituency.
