Ghana aims to avert the 2014 FIFA World Cup brouhaha that brought huge disgrace to the country.

The erstwhile Mahama administration  was forced to transfer $3million to players in Brazil in order to prevent them from actualising their threat to boycott the FIFA 2014 world cup.

The current government has agreed to pay the players $8,000 appearance fee for the continent’s flagship football tournament which kick start on June 21 in Egypt.
