Multiple Grammy award-winning artiste, Beyonce has joined the #EndSARS campaign ongoing in Nigeria.

Following the massacre in Lekki during the late hours of Tuesday, Beyonce took to her Instagram to respond and break her silence after several weeks of been called out by social media to speak out.

Most notable of the people who have called out Beyonce include Tiwa Savage.

Speaking about the incident, Beyonce shared a heartfelt message as she disclosed what she had done so far behind closed doors.

According to her, she has been working on partnerships with youth organizations to support protestors through the provision of food, shelter and emergency health care.

“We are collaborating with coalitions to provide emergency health care, food, and shelter.”

The 39-year-old singer described the entire shooting incident as “senseless brutality,” as she called for an end to police brutality and injustice in Nigeria against the Nigerian youths.

“I am heartbroken to see the senseless brutality taking place in Nigeria. There has to be an end to SARS.”

In her closing remark, she revealed that, in the phase of all what’s happening in Nigeria, she and her organization stand with the protestors regardless as she implored individuals who could support the campaign to visit her website to show support.

“To our Nigerian sisters and brothers, we stand with you.

“Please visit Beyonce.com for a list of organizations to show your support,” Beyonce added.

However, Beyonce’s mum Tina Knowles also reacted to the pressure on her daughter to speak out on social media.

Tina also thanked her daughter for speaking against injustice and for supporting the movement to make Nigeria better.

“Thanks for quietly researching, identifying vetting, and supporting organizations on the ground!! BTW for all of you couch internet activist, don’t flatter yourselves She never does anything she does not want to do!!!! Your nose is like that of a small gnat irritating yes! but weak not powerful!
