Ghana Premier League Giants, Kumasi Asante Kotoko will face Mauritanian side Nouadhibou FC in the preliminary stages of the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League.
The Porcupine Warriors discovered their opponents for the preliminary rounds after the draw was done earlier today in Cairo, Egypt.
Kotoko will travel to Mauritania for the first leg before playing at home in Accra Sports Stadium for the return leg.
The first leg is scheduled to take place on 27–29 November 2020 whereas the second leg comes off on 4–6 December 2020
The winner of the two-legged match will face the winner of Sudanese side Al Hilal or Ugandan champions Vipers FC in the next round.
Nouadhibou are the current holders of the Mauritania Ligue 1 championship and have won it 8 times.
They are also four-time winners of the Mauritania FA Cup.
