Social media sensation, Denis Anane, aka Archipalago has finally opened up on Shatta Wale wearing a fake Adidas for a music video three years ago.
Recall, three years ago, Shatta Wale was in the news for wearing a fake adidas hoodie for his Bie Gya music video which featured Archipalago and some other SM members.
The red hoodie which has the inscription “ADLDAS” instead of “ADIDAS” was compared to several original merch from the global brand.

But Shatta Wale instead of accepting, took to Facebook to defend himself by telling his followers;
“We do these things for people to know.Life is all about being smart and smartness is success..Victory comes when you have accomplished that mission and executed well..We dont just do music..This is what we call showbizness..”
He later jumped on Twitter to explain more;
“Its only the smart minded and business people who will know what I am about in this game…I love these critics..they just bring me money”.
However, Archipalago, who was blamed for being behind the fake hoodie spotted in the music video has given a different account on how the dancehall artiste came about the fake hoodie.
According to Palago in a recent interview, he wasn’t the person who brought the fake Adidas dress from Kumasi for Shatta Wale to shoot the music video with it.
He said, a guy from Kwame Nkrumah circle who happens to be a stylist brought the dress for Shatta Wale and he got sacked after Wale was trolled by fans on social media for putting on fake Adidas.
