Its been eight years since the demise of Vice President Alhaji Aliu Mahama and his memories lives on.
The foundation set aside in his name Aliu Mahama Foundation has released an itinerary of events that will the 8th anniversary and memorial of the former vice president.
According to the press release from the foundation, the 4th Memorial Lecture of the late vice president will take place on the 16th of November 2020 in Yendi.
The press statement further stated that,
“The lecture shall be delivered by the Hon. Minister of Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah under the Theme: Dagbon to the World; the example of Alhaji Aliu Mahama. The lecture shall be held on the Monday the 16th of November, 2020 in Yendi,”
Also, the second lady will launch the “Zongo Laafia” which is a health and wellness outreach program that will precede all events.
Alhaji Aliu Mahama died 16th November 2012 aged 66.
