Akufo-Addo won’t address Ghanaians tonight – Eugene Arhin debunks reports

Communication Director for the President of Ghana, Eugene Arhin has debunked earlier reports suggesting that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will be addressing the Ghanaians tonight.

A few hours ago, several media outlets reported that Akufo-Addo is expected to deliver an address to Ghanaians from Parliament House today.

The report further mentioned that Nana Akufo-Addo will focus the address on measures government is taking to slow down the coronavirus spread in the country.

This was disclosed by the Majority Leader in Parliament, Osei Kyei Mensah Bonsu in the House today.

But Eugene Arhin in a post on his Facebook page and sighted by Gossips24.com, said government hasn’t planned such an update from the president today and if the president will make an address it will be communicated officially.
