Ghanaian Police officer turned gospel musician, DSP Kofi Sarpong has expressed his admiration for Highlife artist, Fameye for his determination in life.
DSP Kofi Sarpong who personally knew Fameye’s parents, said the singer was very young when they all passed away, leaving him to the mercy of the cold world.
He said Fameye’s ability to overcome all this to be where he is now is highly impressive and he (Kofi Sarpong) takes pride in that greatly.
“I like it. In fact, I am proud of him. He will tell his story by himself. Within a year, both parents died and they were all police officers and so he’s gone through a lot and we thank God that he has elevated and blessed him,” he said on TV3 during a recent interview.
