In a recent interview, Ghanaian rapper and Uptown energy crew leader Solomon Andu Antwi, better known as Yaa Pono, discussed his feud with self-proclaimed dancehall king and Shatta Movement Family leader Charles Nii Armah Mensah, better known as Shatta Wale.
The beef between the two became the most intense in the Ghanaian music industry as Yaa Pono was crowned by music lovers at the end of everything. The beef was very nice, but there was a sort of immaturity as Shatta Wale dragged Yaa Pono’s mom into the beef, and Yaa Pono also dragged Wale’s baby mama and son into the beef.
Talking to Hammer Nti at Pure FM, Yaa Pono revealed that he has regretted dissing Shatta Wale. In his own words, he said,
“I regret replying to Shatta Wale’s diss song. I wish I didn’t follow a fool”
