My father asked immigration officers to charge me – Kennedy Agyapong’s son reveals (video)

Kenneth Agyapong, son of renowned Ghanaian politician, Kennedy Ohene Agyapong, has revealed how disciplined his father is with a shocking example of how he allowed the law to take its course.

In most cases, sons of rich men or let’s say powerful men, use their parents, especially when they hold powerful offices, to get what they want. However, this appears not to be the case with Kennedy Agyapong and his children.

Kenneth Takyi Agyapong, who happens to be the first son of Kennedy Agyapong is the founder of Afrochella festival organized every December in Ghana to project African Art.

In an interview on the Dentaa Show, Kenneth told a story on how his father encouraged immigration officers to charge him for breaking the law in 2014 while on his way out of the country.

Kenneth Takyi Agyapong said he does not use his father’s name to gain favours because his dad is a principled man and will not hesitate to let the law deal with him.

He said he once called his father on phone when he had issues with the immigration at the airport but his father told the officers to charge him $500 for every single charge he was found guilty of. He explained that his dad believes in the system here in Ghana and for that matter did not give anything to them on a silver platter.

It’s been made obvious that the honourable member of parliament is not only just on Tv and radio but also in real life.
