Aside being successful, feedback from Sarkodie’s This Is Tema Festival indicates Security at the early stages of the event was really poor until a reinforcement team was sent over to restore calm at the venue.
The rapper held the first edition of This Is Tema music festival on Sunday, October 27, 2019, at the Chemu Secondary School Park inside Tema Community 4.
Thousands gathered on Sunday to watch their favorite artistes take their turns on stage.
The likes of Stonebwoy, Kwaw Kese, Edem, Joey B, Jupitar, Kwesi Arthur, R2Bees, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Eno Barony, Efya, and Kidi, wowed fans.
Whiles some attended the event to have fun, others came with malicious intents to the extent of stealing items including phones.
A lot of people complained about their phones being snatched and Sarkodie’s personal blogger, Kobby Kyei was not spared either.
Sadly, according to radio presenter, Sammy Flex on ‘Showbiz Agenda’ this morning, as many as 33 persons have been arrested in connection with the phone snatching incident.
