Netflix takes down ‘Slay’ movie following Wendy Shay’s report

Following Wendy Shay’s deserving and critical complaints – The international movie streaming website Netflix has reportedly removed a South-African movie production titled Slay from its platform.

This development followed after the daredevil award-winning Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay, raised copyright infringement claims.

According to Wendy Shay, the producers of the movie used her “All For You” song without her consent and permission hence the need to setttle her in damages.

At the moment, Netflix has reportedly blocked access to the movie pending an amicable settlement.

The Slay movie which was released a few days ago stars Ghanaian duo, Kalybos and Bismark The Joke.
