New update by Ghana Health Service confirms that 323 COVID-19 patients have recovered in Ghana.
According to the latest update on Friday, May 8, 2020, the country has now recorded some 4,012 cases of the virus, with 323 recoveries.
“Over 50% of these cases were as a result of an outbreak in an industrial facility with 1,300 workers of which 533 have been confirmed positive,” the report added.
The website, however, did not give the name of the industrial facility.
The COVID-19 death count in Ghana according to the GHS remains at 18.
