A 19 years old girl named Rumasau Muhammed is said to have stabbed his 35 years old husband to death after her family forced her into marriage.
The deceased Muhammed Adamu 35-year-old was said to have been killed after he failed to grant Rumasau a divorce after she pleaded with him to grant her freedom from the marriage.
DSP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, spokesperson of the police speaking to reporters revealed that the suspect stabbed Muhammed Adamu with a knife after seeking for divorce and the deceased refused.
Angered by his refusal to divorce her after several requests by her, the suspect committed the act and the victim was rushed to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Reports from people who knew the lady revealed that Rumasau was forced into the marriage on August 6 2021 just this year .
