The legally wedded wife of Nigerian comedian, Bright Okpocha aka Basketmouth, who is in the person of Elsie Uzoma Okpocha has conjured an affectionate message to mark their 10th wedding anniversary in a new post she shared on IG.
Madam Elsie recalled in the message how the multiple award-winning comedian tried to win over her heart when he stormed her campus during her university days for a show and asked for her phone number. According to her, she deliberately gave him the wrong number; perhaps in an attempt to get him off her tail.
Fortunately, recalcitrant Basketmouth still pursued her until he made her his wife and today, they are marking their 10th anniversary chalked with countless successes.
She wrote: “My happy place, my best friend, celebrating a milestone in marriage, 10years!!!! Amazing!!!! I’m glad you came to my hostel in Unilag 15yrs ago,and im so glad you didn’t give up on me even after i gave you a wrong number.😂😂😂.
I want to grow so old and happy with you baby. I want to laugh and cry happily with you. And i want to celebrate forever more with you. HAPPY 10TH ANNIVERSARY SUGAR… My heart is beautiful because i have you in it.”
